Actually it's a fur cover for the radio antenna. That's the only option I allow my wife to choose. Extremely expensive BTW, like everything a woman wants, she insisted on having the same as her golf club covers

can you describe a bit in words how ATLAS GREY is different from BASALT BLACK? I wouldn't be able to tell unless there's a side by side comparison. I stay away from flat black due to spider webs. Would spider webs be less visible on ATLAS GREY? It's non existent on whites and greys I think.

Basalt is black with gold metallic flakes. Atlas is dark grey and dark blue at the same time.

Thanks Le Chef! Interior is Natural Leather. Wheels are Porsche's XD9 option.

Even Basalt Black Metallic is considered "Dark Grey" by body shops that do repairs on Porsche's. I did some minor damage to my rear bumper and that was the color listed on the repair invoice. That's the color that some refer to as "Dirty Black." Personally, I would refer to it as "Gunmetal" but that isn't a politically correct name these days. Attached is an old (nearly 2 years, but the car still looks as good) picture of my "Basalt Black Metallic" 911S.
