just learned that our government has significantly increased sales taxes on cars purchase starting April 1. Over $125000 car needs to pay 20% sales tax, and car over $150000 needs to pay 25% tax.

Looks like Whoopsy will pay a lot more taxes this year...

Nah, since I am doing euro delivery for the Turbo S, I should be able to sneak that one in before April 1st. For the GT2RS, I might have to do an alternate route...........................

Accountants comes to the rescue!

It's actually 10% more from existing tax. Right now it is 15% and after April 1st it will be 25%.

On a 400k GT2RS, that's an extra 40k. I would rather spent that 40k elsewhere than giving up to the government to waste it. Hell I don't mind donating the full 25% tax to charity instead of handing it to the government. Just a matter of principle.

Simply put, government never knew how to use money effectively, they have no accountability. Left side of the isle or right side, doesn't matter.

the original point of tax is to redistribute to the ones in need. That is not the case as the super wealthy can do several tricks to avoid almost 0 giving. Smiley

the middle class is screwed up, they can't escape. government is screwed up, they don't get enough they have to raise tax and borrow more and spend the not enough money incorrectly. Smiley

I get the principle of ''I prefer charity because government sucks'', all super wealthy do that (not the charity part though) and the system is getting worst. Smiley

this is my country situation at the moment, and pretty much Europe.

Yep, the Pista is currently my favorite. If the traction control setup is as good as on the 720S, it would probably be the better choice as well (looks much better than the 720 in my opinion).

The video was of a prototype. Typically, Ferrari engineers work on the sound when its close to production. I'll probably sound better with the land vehicle.
