How much shorter is the roof line? It doesn't look very different than the normal cab in that sense. Sure the back deck is different but the whole point of the speedster is to have the top of your head barely protected from the wind...

Agree - and also AP is still going through the motions of "we will talk to the market before deciding etc...", so since he is claiming production decision is not made, he cannot at the same time be talking about what a production version looks like.

OK, makes sense. Most rumors indicate GT3 motor with RS power level (still not aware of any difference between GT3 and RS motors, other than airbox and tune).

Like a stretched spyder . Does not look good on these photos . Probably much better with the roof open . Also the speedster always looked strange in proportions . That s what makes this car special , in good and bad

its very sad that someone how has purchased 8 over the last 12 years can't even get a whiff of getting on a list to buy this car.....
Why don't the car companies make these limited special edition and then have a lottery for the customers and make the process fully transparent. To qualify for the lottery you have show proof of funds to be able to purchase the vehicle, and put at least 50% deposit. From there on you get a lottery ticket for the car... it could be a marketing masterpiece in my honest opinion, where actual Porsche fans and lovers are given a fair chance to get the car of their dreams....Of course there would be conditions attached to the sale such as not being able to resell the vehicle for at least two years or something along those lines...
I've asked me dealer in Lebanon for an allocation, but he said we would be lucky if Lebanon got even 1. He took my name down, but I know there are many people above who have purchased 918 spyders and other ltd edtion models...
