    New Pulseplugs for the 997TT?

    I'm usually skeptical about products that supposedly work better than the stock components. Can anyone think of the "Tornado" intake, etc. But I keep seeing this in current car magazines and thought I'd check it out:

    What do you think? They're $25 each which seems awfully expensive for sparkplugs! Should I get some and install them in my 997TT? I'm not sure how hard it is to get to the sparkplugs.

    I changed mine recently and did some research before that. It seems that the 997TT plugs are the same as the new GT2 plugs and only used on these 2 cars and only sold by the dealers. they come in a porsche branded box but on the plug itself you can tell there is a small "Bosch" stamp.
    My dealer wanted almost 25$ per plug but I got them from suncoast for half that I think.
    The reason I changed mine was doing the protomotive turbo upgrade and while removing the turbos we could not figure out how the plugs can be accessed without removing a bunch of stuff from underneath the car including the turbos. There must be a way to do it from above or maybe using some special tools, but myself and my friend who is a mechanic were not able to change the plugs without removing the turbos and headers among other things, working under the car.
    Personally I would stick with the stock plugs since they seem special enough already for porsche.

    Sounds like pure, unfiltered, high grade BS to me. Have they been reviewed and tested by any independent, reputable 3rd party organisations? If not I wouldn't bother.
