You don't have to feel them, you have to buy them.
Are you getting the Pista? Seems to be an amazing new Ferrari...

Yes - though I may try and delay till next March to space out cars etc. Next Ferrari arrival should be the 812 Superfast but one never knows when things are going to show up with our friends in Maranello!

How is this even possible

Wait until the R8 shows up.
Btw: Above video is impossible, unless the Huracan has a supercharger or turbo kit (which I suspect...or the 488 had a technical issue). From standstill, I leave the 488 behind me up to around 140 kph, when the 488 starts catching up (doesn't fall back anymore). Over 180 kph, the 488 pulls away. We tried.

Ferdie:Rossi:Is it true that they are only half CF? Outer part CF, inner part alloy?
I asked specifically that because it indeed looked like his. According to them, the rim is entirely made of CF but received a coating on the inside of the rim.
In the Shmee video (I know, I know), he shows a stand alone CF wheel towards the end and you see the barrel in CF. But as you say the inside has a coating.
Ferdie:crayphile:The car looks fabulous, but I am not feeling the carbon wheels.
Have you seen them in person? In the above pictures the values are off, in real life the CF rims look much more lively. I do like them. According to staff, they save 15 kg of unsprung mass.
Will see them tomorrow. You are right about photos vs real life. I will report back.

Please do. Curious about your opinion.

OK, having seen them in person, I like them even less. Visually a complete mismatch in colour and weave with the rest of the carbon on the car. I get the functional benefit of weight loss though, however, I doubt I will spec them.
crayphile:noone1:If they can coat the inside of the barrel, they can coat the whole thing. I don't see why you couldn't get a CF wheel with an aluminum looking finish.
You probably could, but even I would not want to pay £18K for it.
Are you sure about the 18k? Last thing I heard was more like 28k.
We're at the point where you can be the fastest or just sound like you're the fastest.
