    Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder (2018)

    I like it but I would never buy it, looks quite ridiculous for a Spyder with that gigantic rear wing. Smiley Would have been more elegant to install some sort of retractable rear wing.

    Power specs are same as Coupe, weight reduction over Huracan Spyder is 35 kg.

    Price in Germany: 219585 EUR (incl. 19% VAT).

    Good question (price): If I add 19% VAT, the price rises to 261306 EUR and this can't be right (I wouldn't be surprised though if this is the right price, 261k). Smiley

    As to the wing: I don't know, I think it is too much for a Spyder. Will need to see it live.

    The wing doesn’t bother me either, it is a performante. Looks less ridiculous than on a GT3...

    I really love the Huracan, I love the Huracan Performante but that wing on a Spyder? Sorry, wouldn't get it. Smiley They should have gone with something smaller, maybe the size of the R8 V10 Plus wing (even this one was too big for Audi to put on the V10 Plus Spyder).

    I am sure the car will find buyers but like you said, I probably wouldn't want to be seen in one. Smiley

    I have some mixed feelings about the Performante Spider (as in the autocar video). The sensation of driving such a car without a roof surely is tempting, but this car was not intended as an open top. yes

    Smiley Smiley This is a friend's car, he already broke it in (faster than expected, he loves it) and he is going to be in Italy for this weekend, so he doesn't need it. Lucky me. Smiley Can't do more than 1000 km though (his request) and no outside Germany (not a problem). Will take lots of photos, let's hope the weather will be Ok this weekend (we had lots of thunderstorms lately).

    Funny but true. No chance for me (I think). I keep my cars always under 2k per month and this car would definitely be a lot over it. Smiley I would buy such a car though but I don't have the money.

    Hard sell vs a McLaren... VW group needs to absorb them before they do more damage. Once that V10 engine is gone, Lamborghini will suffer.

    I hope not. If VW is the parent of all sports car companies then the models will all be the "same" or not exist due to internal competition. The more independent companies the better.

    I had a hard time believing it too. I passed on this car. I have to say the Performante feels slow compared to the 720S Smiley, but then so does pretty much everything else.

    I thought my R8 is loud...or the regular Huracan but the Performante is out of this world.
