2.5 was the max allowable on GT3.1

2.2 bars 4 corners was perfect for me. few friends preferred them lower at 2.0

2.0 front and rear hot with Cup2s, 2.1 rear for better tyre life. Dunlops like more but difficult to get facts on these. Most track guys go straight to Cups or Trofeo.

Also the cars are delivered with a camber which suits street driving. If you’re driving quick on track this will chew the shoulders off in no time. A track-oriented geometry will help a lot and grip better.

Almost like the one from the Frankfurt show. That one had silver LEDs. The photos above are a bit saturated. Sapphire looked really nice on the Touring.

These pics of touring just confirm what we all know here: it represents the essence and culmination of what the 911 is as a road car.

BUT the fact that they refuse to offer it without PDK and rear seats is to me inexcusable and basically treating customers for granted and stupid. Just for that matter and by principle, I would not buy any 911 in the current lineup.

I hear ya, brother Smiley but tell that to Porsche.

There was a short rumor of a limited production run of GT3 Touring with PDK. I never believed that rumor but it came from a supplier, so I thought maybe... Smiley Had already a production slot for April for a Touring, in the hope that they would offer it with PDK but...nothing. A customer lost. This is the only current 911 I would have bought (yes, seriously). I love the new GT3 RS but this is a bit too much for me, unless I would be often on the track.

Even better with rear seats (Touring)...but I guess this is just wishful thinking. Too late anyway, I re-invested the money. Smiley
