I agree with dreamcar's brief review!
Having driven several current 718 models, I much prefer the driving experience of the previous generation Boxster and Cayman with a naturally-aspirated six-cylinder engine!
Looking forward to a return to form with the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS 4.0!

I have shamelessly copied this from the Macan facelift thread here, but Alfa have proved that it is possible to produce amazing turbo-charged engines. If 718 GTS sounded and performed even close to this Stelvio I would be battering down the showroom door at my Porsche dealer to buy one!
Anyone at Porsche read these threads?

The Macan Turbo with PSE sounds better...
Generic turbo V6 sound, also keep in mind this is very likely a video with a pre-production factory car for a press release (Dubai?). If you want to know how the Stelvio is going to sound, listen to the Giulia QV.
Performance? The 718 GTS should be similar (straight line) and definitely faster through twists and turns...

I haven’t driven the 718 GTS yet, although i’ve been offered a 24 hour loan of one by my dealer once their demonstrator is on the road - he’s made no secret that he’d like to buy my 981 GTS. I have no problem with the performance or handling of the 718, it’s brilliant, but I can’t have a sports car with such a poor and un sports car like engine, it ruins everything

Interesting...there are "tons" of GT4s currently in the German Porsche used car locator, though only a few GTS... ... as to the dealer's interest buying your car, that is something not really common for Germany, unless the dealer needs to get rid of a demo car or whatever - that is at least my experience...Did I tell already, that the 718 series is the first in the Porsche range I would never consider buying ? The turbos are a blast to drive but the overall experience and this noiseeeeee...
My dealer had a beautiful slightly used all black GT4 with PCCB, a factory(!) car, for sale. Almost got it, this car was so beautiful but it didn't make any sense for me. It was gone after around four weeks, took quite long to sell it.

We picked our 2.0 car up a few weeks back. I negotiated a great deal on it as it was a physical stock car. The dealer swapped out the silver Carrera S wheels that they had spec'ed it on for a set of Carrera Sport wheels in gloss black. I had them fit the painted interior trim, leather armrest with crest and the guards red seatbelts to liven up the interior.
