the-missile:I get your point, RC. But at least TAG and RM are not under the same group and do not share any single spare part in common. I don't mind paying more or less as they are 2 different manufacturers with their pros and cons.
the issue I have with VW group is they give you the feeling that you get something special while less appealing brand get exact same stuff...very similar to the ECU cheating mode for diesel fiasco.

VW handled the whole Diesel scandal very very badly. They needed to take some billions(!) in their hands and do the right thing. Instead, they cared about shareholders and profit only, big mistake. This will haunt them for a very long time, even if it may not have affected them as hard as it may have felt in the beginning. The whole scandal was (and probably still is) a PR disaster.
