Congratulations beautiful GT3 . It does look great with the satin aluminum wheels . Did you by chance try the flat shift function?

That doesn't really fit in the running-in procedure. Smiley

    How does it work?

    Re: Olive 991.2 GT3 Clubsport

Congrats, looks very special and I admire your courage picking up the car after such a long flight/day and driving another 700 km in it in such bad weather on semi-slicks. Even I wouldn't have been that crazy. Smiley Smiley

4.0 bar? Ouch. No wonder. Dealer is an idiot, sorry to say that. Happened to me as well (not 4.0 bar but dealer always tends to put the "comfort" tire pressure instead of the normal one, so I always end up getting a tire pressure warning once I pass 270 kph). Tire pressures are no joke, dealerships should be much more careful about them.

Well, you got to Bruxelles in one piece, just another adventure, remember the good moments. Smiley

Enjoy and drive safely, the new GT3 is an amazing car. Smiley

    CONGRATULATIONS!

This car looks amazing. The color is just right for it. Mindblowing, sporty, classy - a keeper!

Enjoy the beauty and take care on it. You may want to add some wet tires for this season ;)

    Cheers wink

    Re: Olive 991.2 GT3 Clubsport

Well done to pick up a color without seeing it first, we are on the same boat smiley

Olive green looks fantastic but again not really possible to see it from the screen...

kiss GT3 Manual with the proper wing is a great choice.

    @porker

The flat shift function (manual gearbox) allows to up shift without releasing the throttle.. It is described in the user manual . I haven`t tried it on my GT3 as I am not brave enough to drive it in cold and wet weather (sadly here we have plenty of it right now)Smiley

    Porker:

I have them at 2.0F-2.3R cold now, too much?

I run for street driving 1.8 and 2.1 . They are good up to 2.0 and 2.3 on the street . They heat up pretty easily in summer so you are quickly over the ideal running pressure .

I would not want to drive with any pressure above 2.1 and 2.4 on the street  when tire are hot .

Congratulations on the new car. It might as you say be splitting opinions in terms of the color, but I am definitely on the yes team though I would have taken a PDK box in my case. Enjoy it wink

    Re: Olive 991.2 GT3 Clubsport

Wouldn’t the tire pressure gauge in the car warn the tires are grossly overinflated?

The color  is unique but appropriate for the car. When you look at the car, the color pops.

"On the negative side I feel the fixed buckets lack support in the lower back, especially compared to the excellent fixed "Carrera GT-buckets" in my RS."

I like the new buckets but the old ones are actually better for me: When driving with 6pt belts I need to strap in really hard in the new buckets to avoid sliding in the seat. In the old Carrera GT Seats I'm really locked without needing to strap me in so hard.

    Re: Olive 991.2 GT3 Clubsport

Some people put a little cushion behind the rear seat pad - dead easy and you can get them online for peanuts.

I tried the buckets in the McLaren 570S Track Pack on Saturday.. Wow - I have a new favourite seat angry

Thanks guys! I can't wait for the break-in to be over. I'm at 6k rpm now, which is about where everything starts waking up, really frustrating. indecision

When I started with a 5k redline, I felt that way too (that it was just waking up).  Keeps feeling that way at every 500 rpm incremental increase at least to 8,500 rpm.  Truly, every 500 rpm higher it feels much more lively.  The last 500 rpm aren't that big deal (other than just being cool and giving better revs in the next higher gear after a shift), as the power is falling after 8,250.

You'll see.  6,500 rpm will feel much better Smiley

Warning yes but the system should display the correct pressure(s).

He was probably too tired to check and he didn't switch to the tire pressure values. Also navigation was probably was on, so he paid more attention to the nav display.

Doesn't matter, dealer should have taken care of this. What a shame.
