Went for a winter drive with an equally hardcore/lightweight car from a couple decades back, the 205 Rallye. 795kg in a hatchback, absurd to think the GT3 is twice as heavy.

Very nice car,
some belated congratulations. I am very late to the party but that has a reason. Initially I wasn’t very convinced about the colour on the first pictures I saw. It does look stunning in real-life conditions though, different lighting conditions seem to make it surprisingly versatile. Quite impressive considering that it is a flat colour. It is, right?
Regarding the 205, I remember the episode of Chris Harris driving this together wir the 991 R. What is your take on the excitement factor of both?
Thanks Ferdie! It’s certain the color devides opinion, even I have my doubts when seeing it under artificial lighting. However outside it’s brilliant, and indeed very versatile depending on lighting. It’s indeed a uni-color.
Regarding the 205, I haven’t driven it, but the owner confirms it’s incredibly fun and pure. It was on old/tired rubber though so it wasn’t as quick yet as it could be.

I think Olive green is growing on me. The more I see it, the more I like it.
Scary call from Prospeed (factory backed Motorsport team), they're doing my alignment and noticed the camber on my left-rear is 2 degrees(!!) out of line compared to the right-rear, which is extreme. They immediately called Porsche and Porsche asked to bring the car back to a Porsche Centre immediately as something must be broken or incorrectly installed. Obviously all will be covered under warranty.
Goes to show how important it is to check the alignment, I might have just as well ran around on factory alignment until something went properly wrong.

I wish I could say yes... I reported it felt a bit spiky, which I thought was down to the cold temps (and maybe that is the case), but nothing extremely abnormal. It didn't feel natural over the limit, which I discussed with Eric, but also there that might have been the RWS to get used to.
Let's wait to see what it is, but after the wrong colored wheels, the 4.0 bar tires, it's getting a bit irritating...

YES, Include Sun's Lifts and his Nav that both need to be replaced in the quite irritating list!

False alarm apparently, it was a mistake in measuring (or a faulty measuring device fwiw), all is good with the car. All good Porsche!

Are you sure it was not the same with the incredulous 4.0 tyre pressure?
That would mean my TPMS is faulty, and given it showed 2.0 bar after releasing pressure, it would mean I've actually been driving on my rims ever since. 
Grip was also transformed after pressure was set correctly.

Meanwhile I have the car back from the shop, it now has the alignment done, the exhaust fitted an the roll-cage painted. Painted rollcage really worked out great, I had it done in a satin finish, the same way it's done OEM on the RS's. I don't understand why the factory doesn't offer it on GT3's but ok...
The exhaust is breathtaking, it really is impossible to capture on video, the sheer volume is shocking. 
But there's a quality to the sound that maintains that original timbre, just turned up to 11. There's zero drone, and if it gets too much you can close the flaps, I love it. Saved 30kg as well.

M3ike:Cage looks great, compliments the car. How do you feel about the exhaust in terms of still being able to drive in Switzerland without being harassed by the cops all the time?
It's a valved system so when necessary (i.e. in CH) you can just close them. It would definitely be too loud otherwise.
