if true i am curious how they get around the new EU emission laws that strike in september. if your car will ve registered after this deadline in UAE you might want to make sure you can still register it in europe
i have heard July also by my dealer...
possible is a three month extension for non-EU cars. but again, i'd be very careful on import of cars registered later than september. aside from that, i have once enquired in austria how to get a GCC country car registered in austria and some obstacles were pointed out to me....like the headlights, the beeping noise the car makes once you reach 120km/h (apparently deemed illegal in austria), the aircon and some stuff i forgot.....it made my head spin, reminiscent of EU cucumber curvature rules:::))))))
this is my first concern and why I got this answer, obviously not from the dealer... I dont want to get stuck with a car impossible to register afterwards in my home country.
but regarding GCC cars, there are one Euro emission behind the Euro cars so identical cars.
I imported my GT3.1 in Europe and the only thing that was needed to be changed for france was:
-side mirror glasses
-sticker on passenger door to indicate the weight per axle
-sensor activation on engine... and an appointment.
