oh can someone give a quick idea of the upcoming Ferrari's
(1) F142 = F430 successor with less weight and more performance, but still it's everyday usage
(2) F149 = is this like a more racing orientated version?? Meaning no F142 Scud equivalent?
(3) FX70 = Enzo successor??
Is that the models coming up??? im not up to date and confused with all the numbers and the Fs haha.

The successor of the F430 is internally called the F142. I guess we can be sure that it will have better performance than the model it replaces, less weight is a rumour, which would be nice it was true, but what will be hard to achieve.
Development of the Enzo successor is said to be the FX70, but F149 is the new California.

What is the latest news on the "Milli Chili" (thousand kilogram car) project?
Anyone know anything?
Rossi:Better performance than the F430 ot the Scuderia? For the F142 benchmark in term of performance / weight must be the Scud and not the F430.

I'd say better than F430 and about equal to Scuderia. If the successor really will be a twin-turbo V8, then better as Scud as well.Ziggy:

IMO, it must perform better than the Scuderia, mostly by weighing less.
Achieving less weight would not be difficult with an entirely new (slightly smaller) design and increase use of composites - carbon fiber, magnesium, aluminum, titanium etc.
Therefore: < weight than Scud + 550hp =
You really think so? The car is not sexy and lacks the WOW factor. It appears to be a 430 with a revised front. Also, the last thing I would want is for the car to be confused with the California GT.
I would prefer the Scud styling over this car especially if the performance will be about the same.
Back again!

Alexis posted this here in another forum. It's an illustration how Italian "Quattroroute" thinks the F430-successor might look like.
Not bad, but hasn't much to do with reality, I guess.

That front looks a bit like an Camaro!
I guess - as you mention - the reality will be breathtaking and stunningly total different!

I told about it in my last post.........
the new F430 will be until Sept 2009! please sell your F430...
I think your mistaken. They still have to finish producing all the scuderias and scuderia 16M first. Also, they will have a lot on thier hands with the california debut.
