Well, if the car would really deserve a "RS 60" badge, it should have close to 400 hp, not 303 hp
The original 718 RS 60 had 160 hp and a curb weight of 550 kg

Sure, Jeannot - LSD, Shortshifter and PSE would be a must, but the list of the items the car should NOT have is actually much longer:
no Satnav
no Bose
no CD changer
no electr. seats,
no PDC
no auto-dim mirrors
And instead of the strange things which come with the CaymanS limited Edition (briefcase, wristwatch
) the car should come with a helmet, raceshoes and racegloves

It would not be hard to believe that Porsche is planning a couple more "special editions" before the next generation boxster arrives. Especially due to the slowing sales of Boxster/Cayman. Porsche Design Edition 1 Cayman implies there will be an edition 2?

I didn't get any more info today on the car unfortunately. I'll keep you posted as and when I do. As Moogle says it is highly likely that Porsche will do a run out model seeing as the DFI engined cars are due in production from September 08. Porsche did this with the 986 in it's final year with the 550 special edition.

Thanks Isuk. I didn't think there was to be a fundamental change until model year 2011. Next year we may see DFI and there is also talk of introduction earlier in the year. It is needed as the sales seem to be dipping and they need something special to revive sales.

A 303hp Boxster with a 30% LSD is coming and already the Party faithful are nervous! Party discipline is severely lacking! 
So you would NOT want Porsche to increase hp? or do you wish hp gains only for the plots of Nissanites?
Or maybe since there has been no confirmation of red painted side sills, red stripes and red spoilers front and rear so you are sad!
Those who do not accept the scientific theories and practices of Porsche marketing doctrine should be purged!
Any trivial hp Porsche hands out should be appreciated by the people! Those who criticize it are guilty of being Marque Wreckers, Brand Sabotuers and False Adulators!
