    No Problem!
I'm really curious to see this car.

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

you can hear it in this new video..

    http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2tmxx_nouvelle-porsche-panamera-prototype_auto

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

Incredible piece of video- not for the unremarkable car but for the circumstances.

Its like a supehero's secret lair that someone has found and spies on. It's almost comedic.

Did you hear how tinny the door sounded as it shut?

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

Not a lot of rear legroom for a car reputed to be as long as a 7 series

    Just what I was thinking.

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

The rear seat seems really tight for a car that is supposed to be S-Class size .

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

There is leg room but the people sitting in the front must be very tall because the seats are pushed back very far, similar to me and my buddies. Legroom in the rear always depend on the people sitting in the front.

The headroom looks very generous though.

The front seats don't look that far back but the more worrying aspect is that due to the shortness of length at the base of the rear door it looks like you have to be a contortionist to swing your leg out to avoid missing the B pillar. I don't think we'll see the German government ordering a fleet of these to ferry their ministers around in!

Lmao! The base does look a little short. I guess we have to wait for more pictures because I doubt that Porsche would develop a big ass sedan which can't proporly accomodate 4 adults.

I gotta get me a sticker like that!

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

Might be a little of topic, but I'm looking forward to the first pics of the 2 door version (a kind of rebirth of the 928 GTS).
But I do like the shape of the Panamera.
Thanks for sharing the pics and the link with us.
    Greetings

Don't they develop a new 928 at Porsche at the moment?

I thought I read something about that somewhere...

My dealer said something like that when I told him that I'm not interested in 4-door-coupés (we talked about the Panamera). He said that it is very likely that there will be some 928 successor based on the Panamera.

Yes Porsche are working on a new 928. Will most likely hit the market in 1010.

Yeah, the Vikings and the Normans will love it .

But jokes aside, will it be based on the Panamera or will it be an entirely different vehicle?

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

There is quite alot of camo on that open door. You can see what should be the real door, and the huge overlay of camo over it. The tickness of the door from the armrest to the outside is almost 12"+ thick. We all knew the car was camo'd, but this pic shows how thick the camo really is. Doesn't seem that the car will be the "beast" some said it would be...

it is called a 4 door coupe... if I remember well so it may be for marketing reason...

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

As can be seen on this image, there will be two groves in the front bonnet. Maybe a-la Cayenne Turbo?

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

This looks like a VR6 VW engine... I assume this is the Cayenne base engine... anyone any details on that one?

I would suspect the 3.6 VR6, already used in the Passat, the Cayenne and the Q7/Touareg, only with a bit more power.

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

Has anyone seen this picture before? Hope it is not a repost.
