Gregg,
Yep, the Turbo tires work perfectly on the RS wheels. It could probably take the 325 Cup tires that's on the GT2 but I'm not sure if that'd fit under the Turbo fenders. Probably but I'm not gonna try and find out.
You should be able to get a set for about $3500-$4000 from Wheel Enhancement or even Sunset Porsche.
Quote:The engineers amongst us would differ on the "not by much" statement - something to do with rotational mass. Anyway, since the GT3/GT2 wheels are an inch wider in the rear and are cast, not forged, they do weigh more. All 4 GT3/GT2 wheels about 110 lbs, the TT wheels about 103 lbs, the Carrera S wheels about 100 lbs and Champion and other monobloc, forged wheels about 85 lbs. For the racers, lighter and forged are better.

Jason, are these wheels lighter than the stock ones?
They're heavier, but not by much.

I agree - I'm not one of the engineers - not that I doubt the science of unsprung weight - I have GT3RS wheels on my TT. I'm still surprised that Porsche put the heavier, cast wheels on 3 of their top performance cars (GT3, GT3RS, GT2).
