Troubleshooting help please. 997 Clutch issue.
I noticed this earlier in the week.
Whist driving along changing gear as you do with a 6 speed manual, I started feeling a knocking through the clutch pedal when I was releasing it, only very mild, but enough to make me notice and thought a fault was starting to develop.
Anyway, tonight I stopped at some traffic lights, engaged the handbrake took the car out of gear, then released the clutch pedal. What I noticed was on releasing the pedal a fairly distinctive knock was felt as the pedal neared the full extent of the release. When I depressed the clutch again and then released the knocking was not apparent.
What might be the issue here, is it possibly just an adjustment required or do you think it's a clutch plate issue. It could even be a gear box issue I suppose. Has anyone else had or experienced this? If so what was the fault if you were able to identify it.
