What color for the 430 Scuderia??

Ok, now that I got the conformation for the 430 Scuderia, comes the hard part... I think that red, white, yellow, Frankfurt blue (I think it's the azuro, not sure) are all amazing colors...

Although I think I've made up my mind, Red! But which Red !?

Rosso Corsa OR Rosso Scuderia ??

Too bad the red metallic won't be available for production

What's your say? Rosso C. / Rosso SC. ?????

I cannot even tell the difference between the Ferrari reds. Anyone willing to supply my lazy butt with some back to back images of the different reds for me to compare?

I've had both Rosso Corsa & Rosso Scuderia. IMO the Scuderia was the best color for the Challenge Stradale but I prefer the look of Rosso Corsa which I have now on my F430.

On pics scuderia often looks better than the classical corsa, just as in your pic. In reality to me it's the other way round, just a little bit too much orange in scuderia.

Thank you for supplying my lazy arse with some comparison photos. Certain cars seem harder than others to nail down the 'right' color for the owner. The 430 seems no different. The Rosso Scuderia seems a shade brighter while the Rosso Corsa seems to have deeper red. I like the Rosso Corsa.

The Rosso Scuderia was a color formulated to do one thing - Pop well in pictures and on T/V. In real life, it's horrible (imho). It's a little too "neon'ish" for a red and doesn't enhance the lines or shape of the car, which is paint should do for your car (think of paint like a good suit).

Corsa is the way to go. Especially when it has a nice deeply glazed shine.

I find corsa very similar to reds found on lots of cars whereas scud is a very unique colour - and the official F1 colour.

No such colour available to order

This is indeed rosso mondial. It is the current official Formula 1 colour of Ferrari (as rosso scuderia was until last year). This is a one-off example, Ferrari painted the exhibition model of the Scuderia in that colour. This car was shown at the presentation of the Scuderia in Maranello as well as in Frankfurt at the motor show. In Frankfurt they decided not to make it a standard colour, obviously this paint is not suitable for road use as it is not resistant enough. Which is a pity, as it looks absolutely stunning in flesh.

I beg to differ, I think Rosso Scuderia is my all time favourite (other than the Rosso Mondial I just saw lower on the thread). It looks stunning in the sun and doesn't have the "neon" affect to me at all and it stands out from the rest

in shadows it looks almost exactly like Rosso Corsa - you wouldn't be able to tell the difference if there wasn't one directly next to it.
