It’s just a car, there are plenty of other good cars around, not worth getting aggravated not getting an allocation or paying above MSRP. The previous one is pretty good too and cheaper...

Does the touring have folding buckets? If so, what a slight to GT3 owners.

in Europe, there have always been 3 choices for seats, 918 buckets, folding buckets and sofa seats for GT cars.

Guess we're the exception in Belgium. Can't have the foldable ones here, not even through Exclusive.

Will order at least one afterwards for an asymmetrical look.

Folding buckets had their DOT approval expire several years ago in US.  I like the LWB's better anyway (height adjustable, unlike folders)

I use a little inflatable lumbar pillow with LWB’s and that combo is very comfy for me.

I on the other hand much prefer the folding buckets.

The shape is much better for myself. The folding function is just a bonus. LWB is a little bit too wide for my ass and the back angle is a bit wrong. I slide around in the LWB with a 3 point on. But in Europe when I drive with the folding buckets I am very secured.

The height adjustment is useless for me, as I lowered the LWB to it's lowest setting anyway. In a car, I sit as low as humanly possible. Raise my sightline to as far ahead as I can. Hell in sofa seats I lowered the ass as low as it can and then raise the knee side as high as possible, with that position I have no chance of sliding forward at all even with 3 pint only.

    Bronze wheels - AMAZING idea!!!

My 991 had matt grey rims, always would do it again. Bronze is going great with that green

This car will be a keeper!!!

Here in the US the going rate for ADM (adjustment to the market) is between $30,000 to $40,000.

Not too many people got a GT3.2 without paying for an ADM and sometimes what happened is that they pay you a lower price for your trade in and in reality you are still paying for an ADM.

Still waiting to hear from 3 dealerships (and yes I follow up with them about once a month). I've told them that I would be willing pay for a reasonable ADM, up to $15,000 and so far nothing...

You own two 2016's Porsche's. The dealer you bought them from can't get you an allocation for MSRP?Smiley

What do you expect from greedy dealers? Have you check how much those dealers are asking for GT2RS? Even from long time loyal customers whose ass has already been stretched to a mile wide?

I’m in the same boat. On three different dealer lists since the 997 GT3. Not certain why it is so hard. Been driving these cars all my life. I doubt anyone here has half the miles on them. Never bought one new and this is the reason, can’t ever get the good ones. Plenty of offers for bs non GT cars.  No thanks.

    Become a Democrat.Smiley

Oh god Nick, you are killing me! You just can't resist isn't it? Smiley

That's is true, become a Democrat and support socialism, then the central party will dictate what price a GT2RS can be sold atSmiley

Well...I already see Nick driving one of these because if everyone earns the same (or almost the same), nobody will develop cars like the GT2 RS anymore...

Unlike Nick, I have driven one of those on various occasions (luckily I didn't have too, I did it out of a free will) and this one of the reasons I would never ever become a Democrat or a liberal by that matter. Smiley

I like my seat low as well and LWB's in their lowest position are lower than folding buckets in their fixed position.  And I have an American ass, so the extra width works for me too Smiley

Easier to get dogs and luggage in back w folding which Sun’s 2015 NZ GT 3 had but with 5 spinal ops , the LWBs of both types by far the best!

it does seem the back angle of fixed LWB in 2018 GT3 is more tilted than in GT4

    Hi Nick,

No I can't get an allocation. Actually the dealer who sold me my GTS (MSRP $179,990 no it is not a mistake)
Is the one asking for the highest ADM.

Guess I'll take my business somewhere else.
