    Dear Markus the title is of this thread is Autobild-Walter-Rohrl-997 GT2. So we should refer to this article. You posteed in this thread that the time is not proofed. You ignore the article in AB. You was happy like a child that I made the mistake with the lap times. But again you gave not a clear answer to my post. The only answer would be "yes I was wrong and the time is proofed" That's fact.
    PS: Don't imply that I use the word BS (you use this word very often) in my posts. As I told you in the Pizzeria I sometimes don't like your style of posting like you did with whoopsy. This is impolite and the opposite of being open minded.

    P.S.: Just took the time to go through the entire thread and check where I used the term "BS": I used it exactly once, when Whoopsy stated that SportAuto might vary the length of the test track to achieve results "to their liking". I am really annoyed by your posts. It is not my custom to write posts in a bad mood (a bad mood which is apparent when going through my earlier posts in this thread). You should really refrain from bashing me in this forum. You don't do it in person. Thus, don't do it here. I will not accept it

    Anyway, regarding your last post, Markus, I think you and turbosteff need to work this out. I would hardly call someone who is all laughs smiles when around me and then turns hostile when on the internet a friend.

    turbosteff, if you guys are supposed to be friends, act like it. Write him privately and explain to him what bothers you, but don't rip on him poublicly as if you were trying to roast him on a barbecue. This discussion doesn't benefit nor you two, nor Rennteam, as it severely diminishes the level of conversation we are used to. Markus is one of the earliest members here and has contributed lots of good information over the years - you can't just come here and bash him like crazy because his opinion differs from yours.
    Deal ith it over PM or invite him for a pizza, make him pay for it and then explain your troubles.

    Here is one part of chapter 3 (Mit Tempo 270 durchs Schwedenkreuz) :

    We don't know for sure but it would be very fast. About the same as the claimed Porsche 997 TT time. And easier to achieve for amateur trackers.

    However, despite all of the above, if I had to spend the winter in Europe I would probably get a 997 Turbo (with the GT2 seats) and get Manthey to tweak the alignment and add a few HP. The 996 series is looking dated now and there nothing faster or more fun in winter (or slippery conditions) than a 911 Turbo.
