That's the same line I got first from OPC in Cambridge & East London. I then found out otherwise. I believe March build for April delivery for facelift. Porsche have no intention of restricting sales in UK to prop up the used market. Why would they???

I can't imagine Porsche would bother changing the interior very much - it's too costly to re-do. More likely they will add some new (expensive) trim options and generally cheapen the materials a little.
They obviously still have the stupid wart on the dashboard looking at the pics above.

Unfortunately for some, the facelift will be introduced in waves.
Strangely enough, the base models come first in March/April.
The S models follow after the factory vacations in August/September.
The GT3 will also come next year. Turbo not clear yet.

Especially if the facelifted Carrera is close in power to the old Carrera S.
Besides, from a cost point of view, it makes absolutely no sense. The Carrera and Carrera S have the same fenders. Why make two sets of fenders when you could update both models at the same time and keep making only one set?
(The GT3 and the Turbo are a different story, since they already have different fenders.)

I think the whole 911 line will facelifted at the same time excluding the GT's.

Dealers (car salesmen) are notoriously wrong about Porsche updates because they really aren't that knowledgeable about the cars (at least compared to people on this board) and they have motivations to lie to you.

well said! I confirm this. Those little boys have no glue about that cars. But what to expect from this Teenagers with elementar school knowledge. I'm always coming home from the dealer with a red head seeing those kids arrogantly talking to me.

But joking aside, the staff at my local Porsche dealer is a lot better, committed and constant than those at BMW and Mercedes with permanent employee turnover.IMO you can't really blame a dealer that he's not telling customers about facelift plans which haven't been officially announced by PAG and are just rumours in bulletin boards.
