1996 993 GT2 built for drfiting
I saw featuringabout a Japanese car builder located in Southern California (Jon Kanada, JI Magic, with many years of racing and tuning)transforming a 1996 993 GT2 into a formula drifting car. Modifications include full custom suspension, engine modification incluing 6 individual throttle bodies and triple turbos etc, producing 600 HP before dyno tuning. Other modifications include custom tires, nitrogen body jack and racing style centerlocking wheels. Hankook tire was the main sponsor.
There is a sense of flow in powder snow completely dissimilar to hardpack snow skiing. In a car when one is drifting, there is a visceral experience of moving the car across the pavement as the rubber from the tires breaks friction as opposed to full traction when the tires are merely rolling.
