    Too many run-off areas in modern circuits that drivers are taking advantage of to an extent of extorsion I would say.

    come on, are you nuts ? you have to be VERY BRAVE and you have to be a VERY GOOD driver to race like that in sutch circomstances !

    Agreed. The Gilles-Rene race is definitely a classic, but what Kubica and Massa did is definitely the highlight of the entire season. They played hardball on that one, fighting for a better position. Not what I would call 'just punching each other out of the track'.

    Awesome footage!

    I like the wider lower F1 cars back in those turbo days with ground effects. They look like they are glued to the track in those corners. I saw Arnoux drive many times in person. Always gave 100%.
