    Fabspeed Intake kit..What do you think ?

    I noticed this intake upgrade from Fabspeed.
    Would this be a wise mod ? Hp gains? Good sound ?
    Surprising that the right hand side of the air intake on the standard system is smaller than the left !?

    Actually I'm afraid in this configuration, your engine will suck up loads of hot air, not to good IMO

    Looks nice...but I agree - too much exposure to hot air. Can't imagine it enhances performance at all. If you want to improve airflow try a BMC replacment filter - much less expensive.

    FS is coming out with a modification to that box which will work very well.

    Personally, I don't think it looks very good. The Werks intake however on the other hand looks incredibly sexy. What matters though is how well they perform. I'm told that there's not much of a benefit going with aftermarket intakes in the Turbos.

    It only looks good. Maybe if they move the cones to our side intakes and it will make more power?

    He's put in a heat shield btwn the intakes and the engine, cf I think. Details soon I think.

    I got mine for $3,500 from Champion Motorsports. I used to have the Fabspeed intakes on my turbo. Great sound. Very intoxicating.

    But like most of you, I am worried about the hot air being sucked into the turbos. And I live in a very hot and humid country. That's why I changed over to the Werks 1 unit.

    No need to remove rear bumper.Installed it myself and it took me about 20 minutes.

    I will post pics in a few days including pics of the Werks 1 rear diffuser
