Did you get to do any speeding; you know, to enjoy the car like it was meant to be enjoyed? How about cops; lots of them or "none?"
I wouldn't say that we drove it harder then we previously had but we definitely drove it faster! The car still had power and speed to go but we just didn't have the road to do it. We headed west on I-70 out of Denver and then south on 24. At that point we didn't reconnect with a major interstate. The good of that was the scenery, two lane windy roads, and ZERO police. The bad was that there wasn't much road to fully open up the car before the next curve or animal, etc. It is open range area and we did have to stop at one point for cows crossing. With all of that said we easily triple digited on that two lane road. My wife currently holds the top speed record though and gained the title while still on I-70 heading west.
The return trip was the standard I-15 to I-70. That route wasn't nearly as beautiful until we got into Aspen and we did see many police. So in that case we kept the speed down.
It was a fun trip and we really enjoyed the P-car. The seats are extremely supportive and neither of us felt fatigued after riding for hours. And cruising down the strip in Las Vegas was a fun treat as well!
