JimFlat6:Those flares really look great.
The riveted on ones?? Can't imagine the final car will use these, which makes me think this is not exactly the final body panels. Flares let them hide final shape for a while longer.

Is that gear selector a recycled Braun electric shaver?? 😮 👎
No closer to a Panasonic shaver.... But it does now look like a joystick not a lever that moves in a slot. I've been forced to learn joystick on my new Range Rover, and while you do get used to it, it is a needlessly unintuitive set of motions.

It actually is an Braun electric shaver, because Porsche marketing has realised, that many of the Porsche owners want to do this:
Of course it comes as an extra, PES by Braun ® for about 1.5k.

The secret of life is to admire without desiring.
I don't like the looks of the current PDK shifter much, but I do use it when in manual mode and making tight turns (e.g., city streets) that will cause paddle disorientation. So I hope that the replacement will have better aesthetics but remain equally usable. This Braun shaver lookalike does not appear to meet that requirement: too short and low relative to the steering wheel, and difficult to grasp.
