Dr. Phil, in no way am I the "MAN" but I am always willing to help a hardcore group of car junkies get together and shoot the [beep] and stare at cars. So if i need to make some calls or something I am willing to do so but unfortunately I have no connections...

Just a proposal, the more people help thincking the better the chance of a succesful project.
Renting the NBR will be rather impossible or way too expensive... But maybe this is an idea:
The weekend of 23 till 25th of may we have the Yearly porschedays at Francorchamps.
Three days for porsche only drivers at this legendary track. Divided in three categories:
-discover
-sport
-race
Yoy can subscribe for 1,2 or 3 days
Everyone get lots of opportunities to drive in his categorie.
Since Spa is only app 115km away from the NBR it is good possible to meet +/- 1000 porsches in three days at Spa, race there and afterwards discover the Eiffelmountains and drive to the NBR to discover the NBR for one or more laps.
Racing on the NBR is really dangerous if you're not a regular visitor to this track. (thinck Gnil and Cram can give more comments on that)
When organising such an event i still have a roadbook from some years ago wich can lead you by little turning roads to the NBR, starting from SPA.

Hi guys,
I'm following your discussions and at the moment my first concern is where to find a car to rent to attend the trackday. I do not want to risk totalling my 996TT since i'm not such a skilled driver and i do not know the track.
Anybody knows where is it possible to rent a GT3 or something like that?
Second thing: in case of interest i could also try to have a word with few professional drivers to join us and guide us through the track as instructors.
In case this sounds good to you just let me know ok?
Last thing: i and a lot of people that are interested in this event prefer Spa to the NBR for obvious reasons: safety is higher, it's faster to learn the track and it's at the same time a wonderful track.
Cheers
