... so which one to choose?

A difficult decision but there's only ONE King!

Re: ... so which one to choose?

With a little bit of feed back from RC for the next drawing, I believe the TT would be the king

Re: ... so which one to choose?

You said it all, there can be only one King and its the TT. Now I just have to wait till 2006 to get one. It will be well worth the wait for sure, and particularly if it looks like your picture.

Re: ... so which one to choose?

I'll be waiting for more instruction of RC.
Ok ... if he didn't make a joke!
Although it seems that he has (once again) more information about the car.
Well ... we say in germany: "Er spricht in Rätseln".
    Christian: löse sie auf!

Re: ... so which one to choose?

    The Turbo is THE KING!

    ciaoo

Re: ... so which one to choose?

Turbo of course But I'm biased

Probably even longer if you would like to order the powerkit again. I hope that the kit will be available within a reasonable period of time after the launch of the TT.

Although I recall Car/Evo recently spreading a rumor that 997TT will come out in 2 iterations, TT and TTS, w/TTS w/greater power and w/lower weight than TT, ala 360CS.....I certainly would buy such a 997TTS.

I have heard similar rumours, but I won't wait. If the S follows I'll swap the TT over then. I wonder if RC can shed any light on this? If I manage to get one of the early 997TTs, I sure hoping the depreciation won't be as excruciatingly steep as the my current 996!

I just heard that the 997 TT comes around 2006 and that it comes in two versions, TT and TT S but maybe not immediately from the start.
TT is rumored to get 460 HP, the TT S around 500 HP.
Forget about a TT S lightweight version, this is BS.
    But there might be a 997 GT2 again or even a GT1.
Oh, a 997 TT Cab might be available too pretty fast after 997 TT introduction.

But as always: rumors have to be taken with a grain of salt.

Re: ... so which one to choose?

    RC,

What is your take on GT1? Scaled down CGT version or more like GT2 type of car?

Please share your thoughts, it doesnt have to be coming from one of your sources :-)

Re: ... so which one to choose?

    Farina,

Did you post this on Ferrari board too? :-)

I am worried about nberry may still like the queen :-)

Re: ... so which one to choose?

IMO, If there would be a GT1 in the 997 life span, I bet it'll incorporate some of upcoming 998 models wxterior design. Like the 996 MK I which incorporated the lights from the Le Mans GT1.

Thanks for the info RC. The 2006 date is in so many places now, its got to be more than a rumour. The rest as you say is speculation.

You guys are really "tough" on me.
I always have a dilemma: when I get valid information, I usually can't post it because it could unveil my source(s), stirring up a lot of trouble. People know that they can trust us, so we don't give too many details. This is the only way how to keep the information flow going.
When I get rumors and speculations without any proof or precise details, I'm hesitating to post this information because I don't want to make myself look like a fool later on.
This is no excuse, just a little sidenote about my daily "dilemma".

The GT1 is rumored to be a car positioned between the current GT2 and the Carrera GT. I don't have any details about the specs. Some rumors indicate a highly modified 997 turbo engine, others a slightly scaled down version of the Carrera GT's V10 engine and again other sources indicate a possible V8 engine. I'd put my money on the V10 but again, I haven't any details yet.
