    997 facelift? Do you mean the Porsche website facelift?

    Yes, it was a joking reference to those on this board who has already started talking about a 997 facelift, even before the 997 has hit the streets.

    IMO this is a bit premature when you haven't even seen the 997 in person yet. Judging from the pictures I have seen of the 997, I'm not sure it even needs a facelift (unlike the 996 Mk I), looks pretty much perfect to me.

    Damn, that video was made in Estoril circuit, just 10 minutes form my house Anyone know when this was done ? I've heard the 997 would be presented to all dealers in 9 and 10 July in Estoril, is there any confirmation on this date? RC any news on this? I would like to be there.

    There are a 997 with a tottaly different rear bumper, seems more sportive. To see this bumper go to a Porsche.com site, just after the Estoril video, click on "test drive" and you'll see a 997 from behind just for a few seconds, this is the car with the different rear bumper.

    They did a great job at the site, that whitish 997 looks very good in that color BTW, itb really brings out the curves and lines.

    Througout July, the 997 will be presented to dealers in Estoril.
    So if you know somebody at Estoril, you might just ask them for the schedule or for how long Porsche rented the whole thing. Shouldn't be difficult to find out.
    As far as I know, there will be different groups of different dealers from different countries on different days (wow, 4x different in one sentence ).
    But I doubt that spectators are welcomed, unless you find a way to get inside (which shouldn't be too difficult in Portugal... ).

    What's up RC?! You should have tould us that Porsche was here already!

    Do you have any certain info of dates or whatever?
    Anyhow, first Saturday of July i'll be there at Estoril and the surroundings to spy out the 997.
    The main Estoril Circuit balconys are usually open for the general public. I'll try to get inside anyway.

    BTW, the test drive video is filmed in Serra da Arrábida, a great montain road south of Lisbon.

    If you have any info on the 997 invasion to Portugal, please share.
