Pretty sweet, but couldn't you really still put a windshield on this with only modest weight penalty? If I wanted open cockpit, I'd buy an open wheel car with even less weight still...
In fact, putting a canopy and making it road legal would be even more amazing IMO.

There is an optional windshield and It is already road legal (Stradale means road):

Their goal was to make a car that could get yourself to a track , be the fastest and then drive it to the sea and have a dinner using it as a normal car....this was told me by andrea pontremoli, which is the partner of ing.dallara....thay have a really cool place , it is amazing. And i guess this car is the closest to a race car . Will be interesting to se how fast it is on the track.

Very interesting
I like the concept, and it suits people like me who mostly just drive to track events. A bit like a lotus Exige on steroids I guess. Wasn’t Dallara involved in the KTM X-Bow as well?

Yep. Also on the Bugatti Veyron and Chiron.
And lots of pure racing cars for decades...

I thought that was a given.
Actually Dallara is one of the most advanced race car developers on earth, almost all of the supercar manufacturer are their clients, also f1 teams are, they have one of the most advanced simulator in car industry.
no ones nows but also very important german sportcar brand( ex sportcar brand today suv specialsit😁) are sending them a lot of work.
i m a huge fan of the dallara reality, they are just incredible, so i guess the car should be something very special.
