The 488 GTB is still a good offer...219k incl. tax in Germany, the 991.2 Turbo S is 205k incl. tax. Not much difference.

in Canada, base MSRP of 911 turbo S (anyone can order) is $217000, while a 488 GTB starts at $320000 (need to be existing Ferrari owner/VIP to order one).
one reason why I still have not had a Ferrari yet, as I don't think they are worth the asking price here.

Wow.
The 488 is not expensive here in Germany and anyone can buy one. Delivery times are also no big deal as far as I heard. Different markets, different rules I guess. 720S starts under 250k EUR here.

$60K difference in base price here in the US. $190K for the Turbo S, $252K for the 488.
Your 911 Turbo S price is much higher than everywhere else and your 488 prices much lower. I would definitely buy a 488 long before buying a 911 Turbo S at those prices.
What are used prices like for each of those in Germany?
In Switzerland it is like in Germany . Currently there are 39 cars (488 ) for sale on the main second hand market site , starting at CHF 238k ( which is about the same in $ ) most of them being in the 245k range .
There are only 16 Turbo S , starting at 182 K , but most around 200-230k
964 Carrera 4 -- 997.2 C2S , -20mm -- 991 GT3 RS
noone1:Are base 488s the same in all markets, or do some come with some standard options? It's not uncommon for US cars to come with more standard options than European ones.
Not the same in every market, but regardless they need optioning to look better - at least to my eyes .
