Saw that article....having had/daily-driven/wkend-driven many P/F/AMG, differ w/many of obsvns/conclusions.....
GT3 w/no PSM is a non-starter on public roads....have had enough near-misses in mtn twisties (through no fault of own; would be amazed how many seemingly normal-appearing family codgers in their Volvos/Audis/SUVs have zero lane discipline@sub-legal speeds, even in tight mtn twisties
), to demand a well-sorted set of advanced stab ctrls for any car used on public roads....
997TT has too much turbo lag; poorly-sorted PASM; and Luddite trannies (and girlie exhaust note
) to be taken seriously in a world of 599s and CL63/65, whether on a fast urban fwy or an interesting set of mtn twisties.....
Will pick up a revised 997S next Spring if it indeed has PDK 1.0 to see if P R&D is truly incompetent....

You must be kidding!!!
I bet my bottom dollar that any competent 997TT driver (6-speed or manual) will leave a 599 or CL63 in the dust on your often quoted La Honda Road, say early morning with light or no traffic. No question about it!
