Yes, 500 units and AR claimed that they received 1,000 "orders" already as per November 2006. Hence it may be true that it's sold out. Guess it will be a typical collector's item. As we all know there are always some people (even at Rennteam
) who appreciate "exclusivity" more than anything else...

Exactly. Early this year a price of 160k was reported, nevertheless it's a little bit too much for the 8C IMO.

That some people try to flip their cars for a profit, either through friends or eBay is a completely different thing than whether or not the car is sold out from the manufacturer. Both can (and normally will) occur at the same time.
And you did not mention that you were given a price above msrp in your first post..

My comment is not stupid , its your english that is stupid, in no way you would have the chance to by an 8C today , unless you woould take someone's place in the list, besides that, arogant people like you don't go well with the 8C.

First of all,
I said sorry at the end of my first sentence... You missed that apparently...
Second, your assumption that 8C is only for people like you is again just your not-so-humble opinion...
I will end this debate here.
IMHO 8C is nice car but, overpriced limited production or not.

The discussion of the price has been held here around the time of the Paris show. It soooooooooooo old 
But since we are at it again I'll add my thoughts. It is fact that all cars are sold. It is also a fact more cars could have been sold for the price demanded. Therefore logic dictates price is set too LOW !!
And flippers will bring the car on the market over list and will make a profit. So I am sure these will sell as well. Again indicating price was too low for a 500 pcs very special Alfa Romeo.
So if anybody gets offered a car today it is from a "flipper" and over list. This DOES NOT change the fact the car is sold out.
We can buy a new Enzo still today (several) but nevertheless they are sold out. And that car is WAY more overpriced than the Alfa. But oh I forgot, it is a Ferrari.
I am a TRUE car lover (in the spirit of Kreso's words) and to me an Alfa as nice as the 8C is every bit as exiting as a Ferrari or Porsche.
