Gnil:RC:It is my understanding, I may be wrong though (I'm no engineer), that especially the lower capacity turbo charged direct injection petrol engines need particulate filters, not necessarily the higher capacity n/a engines. Again, I am no engineer, so I may have understood this the wrong way.
That would mean that they do not have to stop production of the RS in fall ? Will we see again new batch of cars coming every few month ? Ending with a production of 5000 cars ?
Well, to be honest...I haven't even thought about that...interesting.
All signs however seem to indicate the "end" of the n/a GT 991 models this summer, so...

In past generations, it's worth keeping in mind that the late cycle GT models have continued production in parallel with the new generation 911 launch models.

The issue here is that stupid new Euro 6c emissions stuff...so unless Porsche plans to introduce a particulate filter by end of August, it will be quite unlikely that we are going to see more n/a 991 GT models after that.

Enzo II:6C or 6D?
Actually it is 6C, 6D and 6D TEMP.
Emissions actually aren't more restricted than before but they changed the "measuring" method.

No. That is Henry Catchpole driving the 981 Spyder in an episode of evo diaries from 2015.

All of which means we should greet with arms wide open this new GTS variant. It’s an optimised mechanical and styling package that will head up the range until a Boxster Spyder arrives later this year with a version of the 4.0-litre firecracker from the 911 GT3. Yep – all six cylinders.

I sold yesterday my beloved 981 Spyder and will get a Stripper-Carrera T in April.
Last Info is that 718 Spyder will arrive in 2020 - so T for me in this and next season.
In 2020 I will decide betweeb 718 Spyder or used GT3 Touring - depends on the 718 engine and my driving experience with the 991-Platform-T.
