Re: Piston Head's lukewarm BMW M3 Review
I'm getting the idea that people wish this car was just more on a harder edge than what it is. No one is saying that it can't compete with where bmw has placed it (porsche 911/ RS4, Cayman, CLK63) --- which is good, they know it can and does. They believe that it is lacking some of the sporting nature that the porsche 911 and cayman do have (feedback).
I am no car magazine editor, however, if the new M3 handles like the M coupe and has the same feel of the brake feel of the M coupe --- fpr me, it will be fine. The M coupe has an amazing brake feel and is very very fast (it's just as fast as a cayman and for me has enough feedback to make confident decisions...)
