Huh??? Unless a new ice-age has struck I would not call Vancouver winters "cold". In fact in all of Canada the Lower Mainland probably has the most temperate climate and mildest winters...usually rains and very rarely snows.
I would think the further east, central and then north the colder it gets. I lived a couple years in NFLD, and I remember on occasion it was 50-70 below; a friend of mine had a 911 turbo and had no problems.
In Vancouver I would be more worried about thieves, door dings and inconsiderate drivers before I would worry about the weather!
Tim...nice set of cars and a good way for the rest of us to compare the "Blues".
