RC:If you are close to Munich at some point, especially on a weekend, drop me a PM. Maybe we get the chance to have a drink or lunch somewhere. Would be fun.
Thanks, Christian!

thierry:One million question for RC now :
- if you have the full confirmation that you will get the first RS arriving at your dealer :
- would you sell the GT3 and get directly the RS ?
guys, open for your advice :-)
Car is nice but after 3 days of driving in Le Mans in porsche driving school, with their cars :
-> the gt3 is marginally faster than GTS - really - the only advantage is that you can make many laps...while GTS is dead after 10 laps of bugatti .-)
-> The GT3 on the roas is nice but what can we expect for the RS ? 530 ps LAST na ?
GO GO GO on advices now :-)
Thanks !!
I would get the GT3 RS anyway...if you can afford it. The GT3 offers in my opinion the best performance value for it's money, the GT3 RS is a different beast (though don't expect to be suddenly much faster in it on the track, driving training is essential with these cars) but don't expect wonders. Also, the GT3 RS is supposed to be the last n/a GT RS model, so maybe another reason to get it maybe.

RC,
Thanks for responsive feedback, as always
-> What do you mean with if I can afford it ? Will it be really that expensive ?
I would assume a 210k price range .... Am I wrong ?
If 300k for an RS, no way. The GT3 is currently good enough :-)
997 Carrera S Triple Black Sold now ... Good car 997 GT3 triple black wow what a car !!!

It will be more expensive than the GT3...of course, sorry for the confusion.
Yes, it will be more expensive than the 991.1 GT3 RS, latest rumor suggest something close or around to 200k EUR (991.1 was 181k EUR as far as I remember).
I would assume a 210k price range .... Am I wrong ?
Last rumor was "not more expensive than 991.2 Turbo S" (which is 205k in Germany). I heard something around 200k, maybe a bit less but if Porsche gets the feeling that people want the car badly...well...I couldn't exclude 210k.
If 300k for an RS, no way. The GT3 is currently good enough :-)
No, don't worry.

Grant : Congratualtions !!! It must be exciting ...... and frustrating . But driving Porsche's cars at Leipzig is perfect to preserve your GT3 and you can quick the s... t out of them without any worry Did you drive a manual or PDK ? Both ? What difference ?

Thanks, guys! I really enjoyed driving their GT3 on the Leipzig track. Pdk only. Truly shocking how fast this little NA 6cyl is with launch control (low altitude helps compared to Denver too). Front end bite is best I ever felt in a 911 also, but in a couple parts of the track there was a little understeer (and also some others with oversteer). Very entertaining car!
Disappointing to leave in the Turbo, but First world problem

Grant, if you don't mind me asking, why didn't you spec the rollcage, if you already opted for the bucket seats?
Car looks amazing with in GT silver with standard Xenons and wheels. Most choose black headlights with black wheels, but I prefer the silver too. Well done.
I would love the cage - it’s not legal in the US market for some dumb reason. Beyond that, Porsche even removes the mounting points from the chassis, so it cannot be added later either

Weather in Germany is going to be nice over the next couple of days, especially on the weekend (Bavaria). At least Grant can enjoy his trip and his Turbo.
