    997 Test Drive

    Im wondering when Porsche will allow someone on the outside to test drive one. I dont see why that cant happen as there are so many models built already.

    I have the Swedish version of Auto Motor and Sport. In the latest issue they promise that they will have a test drive of the 997 in the next issue to be released on june 17.

    My sources in Germany have it that American Journalists will be getting a test drive beginning June 21st.

    The problem is...we're not invited.
    Maybe we should ask but we don't dare.

    As far as I heard, the press event is this month, probably in Portugal but of course well known big selling car magazines get the 997 for a test ride earlier.
    The dealer event is throughout July in Portugal.
