    BMW M10

    Why do all these car makers like Acura(nsx) BMW, lexus(LFA) and more insist on making their cars front engine. They put in exotic materials and engines but aren't willing to give it the ultimate layout....Is it to share platforms for something.

    Its to save on cost. Front engine is a traditionally less expensive design. Also some like to go the traditional route. Trust me when I say the new NSX and the Lexus LF-A will not dissappoint

    That's a shame the M10 will be front engined. Everything I had heard up to this point said mid engined.
