I don't have any suggestions but this makes me think of the review of the 997 TT that Dan Neil wrote in LA Times. He noted that a 997 TT is a car intended for serious use, and that he liked the idea of having a really dirty one with slightly raised suspension, a roof rack with his skis, maybe even a dent in the door, and being on his way to the Whistler Mountains.
Maybe you could get a rally style ramp of extra headlights?? I've seen that once on a 996 TT and that made it look very serious - I loved it!

Yeah. Interesting (though P-shopped?). That's the direction worth cconsidering. Why never any wheels that look like they are filthy with brake dust but on second glance are nicely painted that dark grey color of brake dust; i.e. not-black and not-silver?
