PCM - Differences between 996 and 997
Hello,
i'm a brandnew owner of a 997 TT (basaltmetallic black, black leather interior, Tiptronic, PCCB, PCM, ...).
The car before was a 996 Turbo Cabriolet (silvermetallic, black leather interior, PCM with CD-Changer and external phone, ...) and overall i was very satisfied.
But now, after approx. 1500 km with my new 997 TT, i ran into some open issues:
Remembering my old 996 TT Cabriolet, when using my PCM (Navi, Sound, Telephone) everything was very fast. Using the disk changer changing tracks (skip forward i.e.) only takes a second to display the correct track information on the PCM.
But now with the all-new 997 i realized that there is some sort of time lag for example when switching tracks on the single CD Player. It almost takes 2 to 4 seconds before the display gets updated.
Furthermore when using the Navigation it seems to be very slow and unresponsive.
Does anybody here in the forum made similar experiences?
