"Official" word on TPMS retrofit
Just got this from PCA.
Kinda confirms what we know, you can do it if you wanna spend.

My car did not come with TPMS.. Is it possible to retrofit the factory
TPMS?? The aftermarket kits that I have seen don't look that attractive
-dan
Answer:
With all of the integration with the systems, you could do it but it would
be pricey. There are 4 antennas, 1 for each wheel and the sensors in the
rims and the control unit. Now to wire it up and get it working probably
would be over 1500.00, just to start.
I would to try and live with one of the aftermarket systems.
