    C'etait un rendezvous - Lelouch drives round Paris

    Hope this isn't a repost. Enjoy this video guys. Claude Lelouch drove around Paris in 1976 in a Mercedes S Class at high speed (dubbing the sound from a Ferrari 275 GTB) on the film.

    They profiled this video this evening on Fifth Gear showing clips from it and how it was made...

    I purchased the DVD so I could watch it on my big-screen projector set-up.

    Very nice.

    I first saw it as a theatrical short several decades ago and could never shake it from my memory.

    It's just as exciting now as it was all those years ago.

    How many red lights did he blow?

    This was clearly filmed in the Summer on a very early Sunday morning when traffic was low. Being Lelouch he might have had the in of the gendarmerie to pull this stunt. In any case, I suppose he was very lucky to come through unhurt (him and others).
