    And this car also caught my surprise-a 1994 964 Turbo S, one of the few (only 17 built) "Package Car" variants, 3.6L, with option codes:
    '36S' (3.6L "S")
    'X88' (480HP engine option)
    'X92' (exclusive front spoilers)
    'X93' (exclusive rear spoiler)
    'X99' (air inlets in left and right rear side panels for engine cooling)
    But without option code 'X85' (the 964TTS flat nose code):

    Man, what an awesome time visiting Sloancars, owned by Richard Sloan, a true Porsche collector and enthusiast. And that black/black 993TTS was pristine-it definitely made me weak in the knees.

    Well, both the 993TTS and 993TT were heavenly, I was able to testdrive both, especially the 993TT. And in stock form, obviously the 993TTS would trump the 993TT in performance terms, but to me that is moot since I would crank up the power on either one anyhow. The 993TTS was dreamy with all its CF, but the 993TT looked clean and classic and has clear price advantages, so....

    ...I will decide this week what I will do.

    That 993 TTS is simply amazing, but why is it that USA 993's sit so damn high? It looks like a pre-Cayenne

    A friend of mine has a 993TTS too, it's completely stock and it's incredibely low...

    Ofcourse, that's nothing you can't change

    I can always appreciate a TT with proper side vents built into the rear quarter panels. (not the current trend of cheap plastic inserts)

    Yeah, we also have those damn little black bumpers next to the fog lights that really spoil the lines. Ride height is easier to fix (springs). Changing the bumper is more work (and requires painting)...

    No you're right, I even forgot about these butt ugly bumperettes, I've learned to look passed them when they're on the back, but come on, in front

    Is it possible to remove these, I mean, is it just a hard plastic "cap", or is there a real "bumper" underneath?
    It seems to me nobody removes those..

    American legislation I think, it has something to do with a rule, when a collission occurs below 5mph (again not sure), the car may not suffer any damage, the bumperettes take car of that...

    I removed mine on a 993 - but you have to have a good body shop fill in a space with flexible body filler (there is a big hole when you remove the bumperette - bigger than the hole where the Euro foglight goes) and then paint the whole bumper. The second time, I just replaced the whole thing with a Euro Carrera S/Turbo bumper cover - even easier but more expensive...
