According to swedish newspaper Aftonbladet (www.aftonbladet.se) the previous owner of a Koenigsegg CCX is sueing the company for six million kronor (approx. Euro 700 000).
It's the norwegian business man Tommy Sharif that bought a CCX, had it for a week, then crashed it while driving on a closed track during an event. After this he returned the car and commissioned Koenigsegg to sell it for him. The car was sold to a member of the family that owns Hennes & Mauritz. A couple of days later, the very same car crashed again by the way.
Tommy Sharif now claims that Koenigsegg has received the money from the last buyer but then failed to forward the money to him. Instead it is reported that Koenigsegg has offered mr. Sharif shares in the company totalling a value of six million kronor. This does not interest mr. Sharif as he intends to use the money to buy a Bugatti Veyron instead. So now he has filed for the court to render Koenigsegg bankrupt.
It's going to be interesting to follow this story as it unfolds.
