They do not %100 race because of traffic but i am sure they have fun.
Gallardo has a disadvantage for roll races , but however it would be much better when 0-300kmh.
M5 performance between 140kmh to 270kmh(where the limiter starts on speedo) is incredible. However Gallardo's thing starts after 250kmh.
Thanks for the video Duncan

Marcus, i saw that video. But not sure if that M6 stock.
But i ve seen most of de limited M6(to the top speedo) has +40 hp more. As i see from where my Hamann dealer and the Hartge dealer has an de-limit package 305kmh without power gain. And +40hp package plus 205mph de-limit.
Maybe somebody can enlighten me if there is performance package of M5 205 mph de limit with 507 hp remain.? (I am not sure about it)
I ve also seen 330kmh on speedo(at once) with my Gallardo still it has more rpm to go trust me. Even new 06 s has more power. and ore top speed than 04 ones.
Need to challenge both cars but unfortunalety too dangerous to make top speed of both cars in traffic.
But i give my vote to Gallardo for any challenge start from standstill. But M5/M6 has the advantage of rolls where Gallardo has disadvantage.

There is one more road here in my country , also it is really close to Greece border bro.(only two hours to Greece border)
5.2km straight double line however the biggest disadvantage is the side wind every 300 day of the year. Thats where i get my top speeds mostly, because it is only 20min to my summer house

caghan, from a roll start the 04, 05 G may have a disadvantage, but not the 06+ 520hp with shorter gear ratios

hey buddy. Is the difference between pre-2006 and 2006 cars (acceleration wise) that big??
When I drove a 2005 Gallardo a while back I was dissapointed a bit cause i expected a bit more regarding acceleration. It was a awesome car still though . I'm thinking about a 2006 G so your input would be appreciated...

So far its between a GT3 (997) or a Gallardo I love both cars and have no idea which to take, although I'll only be able to get it about the end of the year . A Superleggera will be way to pricey for me probably and they'r only bringing 1 here in any case ...
I also prefer a standard GT3 over a RS...
BTW is this Lambo Baloon White??

BC, take the Gallardo if you can afford it. A much better car overall, I would wager.

Ugh! What happened to the inimitable attraction/challenge posed by the rear-end layout and the superlative steering feel offered only by a rear-drive car? R-R all the way!!

VGA, lol I know what mods have been done to the car, I was actually asking if the improvements in acceleration was indeed that large. Didnt know the exhaust has been chenged though...Much louder than a '05? Should be something...
Has the suspension been changed aswell???
I've been checking a 2006 G. Manual, black.
Loved th combo untill I saw this. BEAUTIFUL!!

If we're talking about the single sports car, the G will have the advantage over the GT3 with AWD and more power. Plus, you can get the front lift unit for those hard to navigate humps. And it's faster as well .

Bc, AFAIK Gallardo SE has much hard suspension than regular Gallardos. But i ve also heard there is a sport suspension
option for Gallardo.(not sure though).
Yeah the exhaust changed it is way more different than 04-05 you can save 2-3k bucks with this. Also i ve heard that some aftermaket exhausts on 06-07 cars may cause slighlty loose power.
06 manuel car would be real good car, i am sure you would be pleased with that car.
For the performance issue want to quote from some LamboPower guys. They said the power difference on crack is +20hp but it becomes larger on the wheels at dyno tests.
