WOW. Guys should be very careful jazzing up these cars. They can eeeeeeasily start to look waaaay too PIMPED up.
I mean how long ago was it when Porsche was the last car on the road you'd expect to be so utterly and unabashedly customized (or worse: "personalized").

I never could have imagined anyone saying anything negative about any of the cars pictured above. but...
i dont think you have the slightest clue what PIMPED UP ("pimped out") even means. anyway they all look great

Funny that an originally degrading ghetto vernacular would have a precise meaning... .
Anyway, I think "pimped up" means adding more and more accents until it leads to a confusing catalog of unrelated differences insted of a unified elegant whole.
Very easy to mess up because the stock 997 interior is already very busy (nearly confusing) indeed.
Just because an option is available doesn't mean it looks good along with any other assemblage of available options.
I also beg your pardon because I am not criticising any particular car pictured in this thread.
As far as being "negative:" I think taking a critical position is an extremely valuable learning tool.

agreed,
i just felt like your perception of the cars were as if though they were straight out of a fast and furious movie. All thats done is painted seat backs, which i belive most agreee looks sharp, elegant and sporty without adding any "pimp" factor.

LOL. Yeah I know, I got that feeling when I walked thru the home furnishings and plumbing fixture aisles of Home Depot.
But seriously, there are some great design schools across the USA and Europe in which people learn a language of design which goes far beyond the arbitrary and "personal taste."
"Beauty in the eye of the beholder" yes, but some eyes are more educated than others.
