    BMW 8 series

    This is CS concept and to me it looks quit nice. For a bimmer I like it.

    I really loved the design of BMW in the pre-Bangle-era.

    Meanwhile I'm no fan of the BMW design in general and hoped it would get better again, but the way the kidney grill seems to go (also look at the first pics of the new 7series) makes me loose my faith in BMW design completely.

    What an unnecessarily over-fussy design IMO! No graceful simplicity or elegance. Wish BMW remembered that less can be more!

    Unlike Ron I have to say I'll take the CLS any day over this. The CLS I think is one of the best looking cars in a long time. This doesn't even come close.

    I'm a fan of BMW's new designs, but this one is just awful.. The CLS on the other hand is a great looking car, though IMO (even though they are all over) it is not as good a design as the E-class with the right color and wheels.

    Other than the front overhang being a bit too long and the grill looking too large, I kind of like it. Slim down the overall front presence a bit and I think it's a winner.

    The BMW design does not do it for me at this point, it might grow on me, Nevertheless the P-car is awsome

    I think the nose looks really weird. The back look alright though. I wish the silhouette were more sporty- it seems a little bloated.

    Hold your horses here .. this is just a fugly photoshop of an M6 or a computerized rendition... the car does not look to belong in its context if you look closely att he pictures.. the car is not photographed in that scenery for sure... the proportions are all wrong and this is no way a "real" car neither a concept car...

    Hmm..IMO, the front end has potential to be something great. However, I feel that the lines of the car are just too radical for my taste. Furthermore, I understand that they are probably going after Mercedes (CLS), but I feel that if they want to dub it the new "8 series," that they should keep it a two door. It would look very nice if it had a body stle similar to the AM8. Eitherway, I think it has potential.

    Although I am a BMW fan I must admit that it looks like its on Steroids.... Not good to me but a potential panamera opponent...

    Who kicked in the front end? Its gawwwd awful ugly.

    Seriously how could they even waste time making the drawings
    for that abomination?

    Has the BMW Design studio been checked recently for arsenic, lead or mercury contamination?????????

    Mea culpa guys! I remember I made some similar comments about the new 3 series looking like an otter when the pics first came out. This concept 8 series looks like a muscular otter.

    Rossi no doubt remembers my otter pics well...he has a good memory
