The current normal GT3 looks very good and a very well balanced design. IMO the rear wing is very well designed to blend with the rest of the body and gives that extra aggression of the GT range.

I cannot see the attraction of the Touring version unless the (tiny) rear seats are a must. However, people who own GT3s are also owners of other nice cars if they need to carry more passengers.

Sorry, this car looks like a castrated GT3 rather than an upgraded Carrera enlightened

If the GTS were naturally aspirated, then the GTS makes a good alternative. If the GT3 with a touring package is a worse value that a GTS, then what would an R be? But since the GTS isn't, the Touring Package is fundamental, IMO. I am considering one because I like the understated looks and need the rear seats. Now if I can get it in Maritime Blue, that would be quite special to me.

The RS wing is a far more esthetic and coherent design than the GT3 wing, and the Motorsport connection is readily apparent unlike the GT3 wing. Surprisingly when I had my .1 GT3 I found the look of the wing less balanced with the overall design than it appears in photos. I would not have ordered a new GT3 w/o some form of wing delete option sanctioned by the factory.

I think these motors were only used in ROW 74+ Carrera (non-RS), but not the regular 911 or 911S...

In Juli, Walter was at an event here in Luxembourg. Something about rallye, I don't know what exactly. My dealer asked him, what his favorite car was, and he replied the Turbo S. It's the only car that excels in everything. Funny though, as they don't come with MT.

We all have a penchant for choosing "the one best" when in reality there is no "one best" we prefer for all things. When pressed someone like WR will "choose" whatever he may think is appropriate at the time and circumstance, but in reality he may rightly believe that no one car is best at all things and at all times. People want their choices validated by those whose opinions they value and respect which is also natural.

Touring Package is available only with manual gearbox.

Clubsport Package can not be combined with Touring.

Leather interior standard.

So, yes, it is aimed to those who wanted R. And yes, it will kill speculator created R prices on used car market.

It is not a GT3 anymore . More like a super GTS .

This car is now intended for spirited road driving and not really for the track .

If you want the sportier DD , this is the car to get ....... with a few drawbacks like road clearance ( probably if same hight then regular GT3 , and the lack of back seats )

BTW, due to the lack of fixed rear wing top speed is 316km/h.

My P source wrote to me that around 85% of manual GT3 is expected to be ordered as Touring.
