    Rejex

Have read several post about the great shiny effect and long term protection Rejex provide, so I bought a pack and try it out. Let's see if it will last, but one of the up side of Rejex is that it keeps the whsels very clean, keeping the brake dust away. I will check this by myself in few days.

    Re: Rejex

    Very nice
Were did you get it from? How easy it is to apply?

I clean the car from time to time but very lazy to wax it, it just gets all dirty again in a week, so after washing I use a product called Redex (Super Cera Activa) since is very easy to apply (spray and wipe, its like a silicone wax based clear fluid) and not as much effort but keeps the car cleaner and shinny and the dirt & bugs comes off much easier in the next wash. Now, the funny thing is the only place were I can get that stuff is from those JUMBO stores in Portugal check it out.

    Re: Rejex

    I got Rejex from UK.
Redex is the Portuguese most famous wax. I'll try to use it next time, thanks for the tip

    Re: Rejex

I have heard alot about Rejex too, but strangely I can't find it in Houston . I have called 2 or 3 major detail shops that sell many different detailing products and none of them have heard of Rejex .

    Carlos,

Rejex is a liquid wax, you apply it on the paint, wheels, I have even heard on the plastic too and let it dry, it kind of turn hazy; that's when it is dryed up.
Then with a soft cloth wipe it off (it very easily wipes off). The most important instructions are that:

    1) it has to be applied when the car is cold (not hot surface).
    2) After it has been applied need to be cured for 12 hours. Most likely in a garage not exposed under the sun.

If not cured for 12 hours, according to the instructions on the bottle, it won't be as effective.

I personally have seen pictures of the cars that Rejex has been applied to them and they all look like glass shiny, bright, and so clean all the time. I have also heard once Rejex is applied, it is a matter of wiping the car with a cloth and the shine is back again .

    Re: Rejex

    You can buy it here:

I've been using RejeX for a year or so. It minimizes bug splats sticking to your windshield, brake dust from building up on your wheels, and the exhaust tips from yellowing. Doesn't totally eliminate the buildup, but does a great job at minimizing it.

I use One Grand Blitz wax on the painted surfaces, which goes on and off easier than RejeX in my experience, and lasts a really long time. Everyone has their favorites.

    Re: Rejex

    thanks for the info Ron

    Re: Rejex

    Carlos,
I contacted last week the european importer, which is located in Germany (company Scandex)
I ordered 2 bottles of that RejeX.
If you want one, just tell me.
They wait for my payment, so I can add some in the order.
I got it for 25 euro w/o taxe each bottle.
I can't wait to test it on the new car.

    Re: Rejex

Thanks Jecey, thats OK, I'm a bit too lazy to use it, maybe if I had a brand new GT3 I would be motivated to BTW how is that Ti exhaust & roll cage coming along?

    Re: Rejex

Can you tell me where in the UK you got Rejex please?

    Re:Wax

I am a long term user and fan of Zymol having used it on my past three Porsches.

Bit of a job to apply it the first time but once on the dirt and bugs just hose off.

Needs to be reapplied every six months for maximum effect but certainly worth the effort.

Word of warning! It smells of chocolate and drives our dogs mad, they keep trying to lick the car and scratch it with their claws!!

I have also heard some good things about Swizol (?)

I used Zymol for 15 years on my Porsches, but got tired of the difficult application/removal process, and low durability. I heard good things about One Grand Blitz wax so decided to give it a try, and like it a lot. Goes on & off very easy (you apply it to the whole car, then buff off) and lasts much longer than Zymol (which never lasted more than 4 - 6 weeks).

    Re: Rejex

I applly RejeX to the entire car (even windows and rims). Thought I'd share some reflections on the matter.

BTW: I lowered my car with PS6 Suspension. That's Photoshop 6! hilarious

    Re: Rejex

    Nice car

I have been looking for Rejex all over in Houston but I guess I have to order it on-line.

I have been using Zymol HD-Cleanse for a while and I'm very happy with it but need to try the Rejex .

    J.Seven,

your car looks better than new!

Can you already say anything around clean-keeping of wheels / car?

    L@rs

    Re: Rejex

The brake dust comes off easily indeed. Look at the car one week after Rejex treatment and cleaned with only a soft cloth

    Re: Rejex

    J.Seven

I've been using ReJex for almost 2 years

And am completely satisfied with the way it keeps the car clean (brake dust and bug splats), and how nice a surface it leaves. ReJex is not wax, and I would dare to say that it makes wax obsolete!

Re: I've been using ReJex for almost 2 years

    Very cool pictures
